Expired and severely damaged identifications are not valid. The following are acceptable forms of identification:
No child under the age of 18 may be left unattended in a guest room or anywhere on hotel property. No one under the age of 18 is permitted in the hotel lobby, breakfast area, or basketball court unless a parent or guardian over the age of 21 is present.
All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. Full, non-refundable deposits are required for prepaid (advance purchase) rates.
Guests must be 21 years of age or older with valid identification to reserve a room and check in. The name on the reservation, identification, and credit card must all match.
The valid credit card presented at check-in will be authorized for the full amount of room and tax, plus an additional $150 per night for incidentals. If you’re staying multiple nights, your card will initially be authorized for $200 per stay at check-in, with this amount incrementally increasing as additional charges are added throughout your stay. For complimentary rooms, a $100 per night incidental authorization will be applied. Guests are able to book and redeem one complimentary or discounted room per day with a valid rewards card.
Reservations must be canceled by 4:00 p.m. (hotel time) at least three days (72 hours) before arrival for all flexible rates, to avoid a cancellation fee equal to one night’s room and tax charges. When length-of-stay restrictions are in place, any modifications to the reservation will follow the cancellation policy. Pre-paid (advance purchase) rates are non-cancellable/non-refundable/non-transferable. All guests who receive a complimentary stay with us are subject to the cancellation policy. Guests who do not provide the full 72-hour cancellation policy will be charged the full room rate.
An overnight guest is formally defined as an individual who has completed the registration process for a room and whose presence on the premises is between the 4:00 PM check-in time on the day of arrival and 11:00 AM check-out time on the day of departure. This differentiates them from daytime visitors, who are not authorized to stay overnight. Each suite has a maximum occupancy limit, and strict adherence to this capacity for registered overnight guests is mandatory.
A daytime visitor is someone visiting a registered guest between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM who is not registered to the room and does not stay overnight. Each suite has a maximum occupancy limit that applies to all individuals present, including both registered guests and any daytime visitors. The combined total of registered guests and their daytime visitors must not exceed this limit. Adhering to these rules is mandatory for the comfort and safety of all our guests.
Strict occupancy limits are enforced for all suites.
Exceeding these stated occupancy limits may result in an immediate occupancy fee or eviction from the hotel without refund, as well as a violation fee.
Quiet hours are strictly enforced by both Riversuites and the City of Philadelphia from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. We require all guests to observe these hours and be respectful of others.
Amplified sound, including loud music, DJs, or amplified voices, is not permitted. Any complaint received from another guest or neighbor regarding noise violations will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund and a violation fee ranging from $500 to $2,000. This violation fee is necessary to compensate and provide service recovery for guests negatively affected by disturbances.
Should a guest violate this policy, it may result in immediate eviction from the hotel without a refund and a violation fee.
Riversuites enforces a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of all hotel guests and property. Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. Should guests violate this policy, a violation will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund and a violation fee.
Riversuites at The Battery Philadelphia offers complimentary parking for one vehicle per room reservation, either on location or nearby at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. To receive complimentary parking, all guests’ names must be on the reservation at the time of arrival.
On-site parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If our designated hotel parking area is full, registered hotel guests are welcome to park at Rivers Casino Philadelphia, located at 1001 N Delaware Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125. This is approximately 0.4 miles away, about a 6-8 minute walk.
We also provide a convenient shuttle service to and from Rivers Casino during the following hours:
Guests are not permitted on the casino floor with luggage.
All reservation changes, including cancellations, must be made through the channel where the reservation was made, whether it is Riversuites at The Battery Philadelphia reservations department, online at riversuiteshotel.com/, travel agents, and/or third-party travel agents like Expedia and Booking.com.
The cancellation and deposit policies on the rate plan and room type will apply. Unfortunately, due to restrictions with all online travel agents such as Expedia, Hotels.com, Travelocity, Orbitz, Hotwire, Trivago, Booking.com, Priceline, Kayak, and others, Riversuites at The Battery Philadelphia is unable to modify, cancel, or refund reservations made through these websites. The guest must make any modifications through the website where the reservation was booked.
Reservations for specific room types and room types selected at check-in are subject to the availability of the room type at check-in. All efforts will be made to accommodate guests’ requests for specific room types and locations; however, the hotel is unable to guarantee any requests as rooms are not assigned until check-in. Additional fees may apply depending on the specific requests.
ADA accessible rooms include features for guests with disabilities. If you do not need these features, and/or if there are no other rooms available that meet your needs, please contact the hotel directly.
Run-of-house reservations will have the room type selected at check-in and are subject to availability. All efforts will be made to accommodate the guests’ requests for a specific room type and location; however, the hotel is unable to guarantee any requests in advance, since rooms are not assigned until check-in.
Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted anywhere in Riversuites at The Battery Philadelphia. Violators of the smoking/vaping policy are subject to a non-refundable $350.00 fee. Riversuites at The Battery Philadelphia reserves the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card for $350.00 for violation of the smoking/vaping policy.
Riversuites at The Battery Philadelphia does not allow pets. Violators of this policy are subject to a non-refundable $350.00 fee plus the cost of any damages caused by the pet. Service animals required because of a disability are permitted. The guest should inform the front desk 48 hours prior to arrival about any service animals.
We may ask you (1) whether the service animal is required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task the service animal has been trained to perform.
Service animals must be declared 48 hours prior to arrival. Service animals are not subject to a fee; however, any damage caused by a service animal is billable to the guest. Service animals are not to be left unattended at any time. Hotel guests are not permitted to leave their service animals in their rooms when they leave the hotel. If a service animal is found left unattended and we are unable to contact the owner, the City of Philadelphia Bureau of Animal Care & Control or law enforcement will be contacted. Service animals are housebroken. If a service animal urinates/defecates inside the hotel, hotel management has the sole discretion to require you to remove the animal from the premises. If a service animal is out of control, disruptive, or deemed dangerous and the handler does not take effective action to control it, staff may request that the animal be removed from the premises. We count on you to prevent your service animal from making excessive noise, being disruptive, or aggressive to other guests. We enforce a one (1) warning policy.
Service animals are under the control of the handler at all times. It must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless either the handler is unable because of a disability to use such a device or use of it would interfere with the service animal’s safe and effective performance of work or tasks.
When a service animal is in a food service area, it must remain on the floor in a location that is out of the path of travel. It cannot sit in the owner’s lap, on seats, or on any eating surface, and it must not be fed from the table.
Guests with a service animal must contact the Front Desk to arrange room cleaning. Your room will not be serviced while you and your service animal are present. Room cleaning and stayover service are to be scheduled during regular business hours, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily.
If your room requires excessive cleaning or if damages are incurred, the hotel may charge for these additional services and repairs.
Riversuites at The Battery prohibits individuals from possessing firearms, stun guns or other weapons on hotel property. This policy applies to all firearms and weapons.
Riversuites at The Battery recognizes that hotel guests and visitors may legally possess firearms. This policy is intended to create a safe environment for all who visit the Riversuites at The Battery by providing appropriate guidance over the custody of firearms on the premises. Please keep in mind that the safety and security of our hotel guests and Team Members are of utmost importance. Riversuites at The Battery reserves the right to request guests and visitors who fail to abide by this policy to leave the hotel premises. This policy does not apply to law enforcement officers.
The Basketball Court is available from 11 AM – 8 PM, 7 days a week. No one under the age of 18 is permitted in the basketball court unless a parent or guardian over the age of 21 is present.
Riversuites at The Battery reserves the right to charge guests the cost of repairing damage caused by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act of the guest to the hotel’s property or structure. Should such damage be discovered after the guest has departed, Riversuites at The Battery reserves the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card or send an invoice to the registered address for the amount of the repair and/or replacement of damaged property.
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without the express, written consent of an authorized officer of Riversuites at The Battery Philadelphia. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card and/or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.
To provide all of our guests with an exceptionally clean and safe hotel experience, we reserve the right to enter your guest room for reasonable purposes, such as for housekeeping, maintenance, to verify that the room, its furnishings, and mechanical equipment are intact, to address or prevent a violation of the law or our Hotel Policy or for any other reason within Management’s discretion. Hotel staff will normally knock and announce themselves before entering your guest room unless we believe that exigent circumstances exist. While we will respect our guests’ privacy when they are staying with us, it is important that we ensure the safety of all our guests and team members. Management reserves the right to enter a room with a known status of “Do Not Disturb” if it is in place for more than 24 hours. In the event of suspected illegal activity, management reserves the right to summon law enforcement to aid in eviction. Law enforcement will be granted immediate access. The right to private use of the guest room ends when a Hotel Policy is broken.
Riversuites at The Battery Philadelphia accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard, & Visa. Cash may be used to cover all or a portion of the final bill at check-out.
Regardless of billing or master account agreements, the guest on the reservation is liable for all charges posted to the room caused by you or your guests/invitees during your stay. The guest authorizes Riversuites at The Battery Philadelphia to place a hold against the credit or debit card to guarantee all charges, which will include an incidental hold of $150 per night. If unused, it will be released back to your bank or credit card institution upon checkout. Use of debit cards can take up to 5 to 10 days for your bank to release the funds back to you. If the account is not settled before departure, the guest authorizes the hotel to charge the credit or debit card or apply funds that were deposited with the hotel against what the guest owes. All charges will be in United States Dollars (USD).
By signing the terms and conditions, you consent to receiving future marketing information from Riversuites at The Battery Philadelphia.
Lost and found items will be securely held at the Riversuites at The Battery Philadelphia for exactly 15 days, with no grace period whatsoever. Following this 15-day retention period, any unclaimed items will be safely and securely discarded. When a lost and found claim is submitted, Riversuites at The Battery Philadelphia management will conduct a thorough review to determine the status of the requested item. If the item is located, guests will be promptly notified and required to provide a method of payment to cover all shipping costs. Please be advised that all perishable items found will be discarded on the very same day, with no exceptions.
